Fort Welikit Family Campground/RV Park is a relatively new addition in the Customer, SD region. Its 100 sites offer a little something for everyone. Although it may not be as well-known as nearby Sturgis RV resorts, it offers many of those amenities you'd expect from a grand campground. Its convenient location is a big plus. This is the best place to find a place to rest while you visit the Black Hills.

There are many sites for tents. The campground also has a playground and a dog park. You can also play grass volleyball on the campground. There is also an overhead shelter at the campground. This is a nice touch. An overhead shower house is also available.
There are many amenities available at the campground, such as a dog-friendly area, laundry facilities and a dump truck. You can also take advantage of the campground's Wi-Fi service, which is free. The Wi-Fi may not be the best but it will keep you connected when you are on the road. It might not work on all channels.
It's close to several of the best attractions in the area such as Crazy Horse, Badger Clark historical site, Jewel Cave, or Badger Clark cave. The campground is located within one mile of Custer's main street, making it an easy trip to see the sights. You can also take the Crazy Horse bus to the park, which departs every half an hour.
